What if I submitted my Step 1 forms and haven't received a time-stamped copy back from the court?

• Montgomery County Filing - If you do not get a time-stamped original back from the court, call the Montgomery County Prothonotary’s office at 610-278-3360 to find out the time stamp. You can also check online through the court docket system. Continue filing if the docket states that your forms have been filed and be sure to meet all expiration dates for Step 2.

• Chester County Filing - If you do not get a time-stamped copy back from the court call the Chester County Prothonotary’s office at 610-344-6300. There is a fee to access the Chester County docket, but you can contact us to check the docket for you.
